June 16~Sunday

There’s nothing like the fresh smell of the north-country air! Senses are heightened by spectacular rural settings with picturesque countryside colors of red barns, green pastures, dotted black and white cows, majestic mountains and rocky coastlines.  Depart the Manchester NH area for Quechee Gorge – Vermont’s little Grand Canyon for a picture stop.  We’ll stop at Sugurbush Faem to learn about Maple Sugar and to taste it’s famous cheeses. Continue to Woodstock for free time and lunch on your own.  In the afternoon, visit the Calvin Coolidge Homestead in Plymouth Notch, the birthplace of our 30th President. Visit the Plymouth Cheese Factory, in operation since 1890! Enjoy a get-acquainted dinner this evening. (D)

June 17 ~ Monday

After breakfast depart for Burlington Admission is included at the Shelburne Museum, Vermont’s most popular attraction. Here you can explor the 45 acres of Americana. See collections of 19th century American art, tools, architecture and much more, including the historic landmark steamboat Ticonderoga. Next, we visit the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Vermont’s largest producer of Apple Cider. Enjoy free samples of cider as well as other products produced on the premises. Our next stop will be at the popular Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory where we have a tour followed by some free sampling. Return to the hotel for another dinner together this evening. (B, D)

June 18 ~ Tuesday

This morning after breakfast, travel to Barre to the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry for a behind-the-scenes tour with a master sculptor. Then say farewell to Vermont and journey into the White Mountains of New Hampshire to Franconia State Park and visit the Flume Visitor’s Center. Soar to the top of Cannon Mountain for an aerial tram ride. Overnight tonight in North Conway. (B, D)

June 19 ~ Wednesday

Depart this morning for Weirs Beach and a scenic cruise aboard the MS Mt. Washington to Wolfeboro, New England’s first summer resort town. Have lunch on your own in Wolfeboro and then visit Castle in the Clouds for a scenic overlook of the area.  Return to North Conway for a little Outlet Shopping before returning to the hotel for another tasty dinner. June 20 ~ Thursday

This morning, travel to Maine to the seaside village of Kennebunkport, summer home to former President Bush. Driving into town, make sure you get your camera ready for a picture of the ornate gingerbread – trimmed Wedding Cake House. From here, travel south along the jagged coastline into Ogunquit, named “beautiful place by the sea” by the Abenaki Indians. Enjoy a scenic cruise out of Perkin’s Cove on a lobster boat to learn all about these tasty creatures of the sea, and Maine’s #1 export! Following the cruise, travel to York for a visit to Cape Neddick Light, otherwise known as “Nubble Lighthouse”. Finish this wonderful day with a traditional Lobsterbake dinner. Return to Manchester with a camera full of beautiful pictures and memories to last a lifetime.

Liability Waiver
I, the undersigned, agree to this release of all claims, waiver of liability and assumption of risk (“Waiver and Release”). I waive any and all claims I may have now and in the future, and release from all liability and agree not to sue Out of the Box Tours, Tammy Downing (owner), its officers, agents, representatives, employees or tour guides [hereafter referred to as “Staff”] for any personal injury, death, property damage, or loss sustained by me as a result of my participation in a tour or experience offered by Out of the Box Tours due to any cause whatsoever, including without limitation, negligence on the part of Out of the Box Tours, its Staff, tour partners, or other participants, or death or injury as a result of war, civil unrest or epidemic. I further agree that if I violate this agreement and attempt to bring suit against any part of parties named herein, that I will be held responsible for attorney’s fees and any costs incurred by that person in defending such action.
I am aware that the tours and events offered, in addition to the usual dangers and risks inherent, has certain additional dangers and risks, some of which include: physical exertion for which I may not be prepared and weather extremes subject to sudden and unexpected change. I accept all the inherent risks of the proposed tour and the possibility of personal injury, death or property damage or loss resulting there from. I acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement of the proposed form of tour or event is derived in part from the inherent risks incurred by travel and activity beyond the accepted safety of life at home or work, and these inherent risks contribute to such enjoyment and excitement, being a reason for my participation. I agree that if I suffer injury or illness Out of the Box Tours or its Staff can, at my cost, arrange any medical treatment and emergency evacuation service as it or they deem necessary for my health and safety. Further, I agree at all times during the tour, to abide by and comply with any additional instructions given by my tour guide or any other Staff and I accept that non-compliance may result in injury, death or permanent disability. I understand that non-compliance may result in my removal from the tour.
In entering this Waiver and Release, I am not relying on any oral, written nor visual representations or statements by Out of the Box Tours or its Staff or any other inducement or coercion to go on the tour. I confirm that, by my own free will, I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of this walking tour or event and Wavier and Release and agree that this Waiver and Release will be binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and successors.
I agree to grant the sponsors of this tour or event to a worldwide, royalty-free license to use my photographic, video, or digital likeness solely for promotional, educational, and/or commercial purposes.
As a participant on the tour or event, I accept full responsibility for my behavior, well being, and health throughout the tour, which may involve a variety of activities, unfamiliar locations, and modes of travel, including but not limited to: climbing, running, or walking for a longer period than I am used to. I further realize that the tour may involve walking through unfamiliar, narrow, unpaved and/or steep paths, gangways, roads, stairways and driveways. I knowingly and willfully accept these risks and take complete and total responsibility for my behavior, well being and health during the tour or event. I agree to hold neither Out of the Box Tours, nor its Staff, or facility liable in any way should any harm come to me.
